6 months old!

Can you believe it?! Anna turned 6 months old last Sunday (June 17th). I took her to her doctors appointment on Monday and she weighed in at 16 pounds 7 ounces and 26.4 inches long. Her weight is in the 54th percentile, so she may be chubby, but she is average weight and her height is in the 74 percentile. Anywho, we went and got her pictures taken last Saturday....

Don't you think she looks like a gummy bear in this one?

I am very fond of this one.

This is a new headband that she has yet to totally destroy; although, she has pulled a few of the petals off the flower. She is definately one that you always have to keep your eye on!

A day with Annabelle

We wake up, eat and play. This can keep her occupied for a little while, while I try and do some cleaning or what not.

Nap time. One day Anna decided she didn't want to be swaddled anymore. So, it has seems like she has had to learn to fall asleep on her own all over again. Sometimes she has too much fun with the blankets and this is how I will find her after she finally calms down and falls asleep.

Time to eat yet again. She will be 6 months on Sunday and yet, she still refuses to eat solid food. After a few attempts and her not swallowing anything...she turns her head away and won't even open her mouth! Any suggestions are welcome.

Tummy time! Anna now reaches for things on her tummy, only to get frustrated when she can't crawl to get to them. But she can scoot around in a circle...going no where...only to leave her more frustrated!

Bathing Suit + Ice Cream = ???

I haven't been up to much lately....hanging out with Anna, cleaning the house and occasionally going to the store. One thing that American Fork has that Logan didn't....Target! I love that store! And, after watching "Good Things Utah" on Thursday? (they did a segment on swimming suits) I went to the Shade store (also in American Fork) to try them on. Apparently every other female in Utah County watched GTU that day cause the store was packed and it is like the size of my bedroom!

While in the dressing room, I laid Anna on the floor and she decided to let the whole store know she was in there by babbling as loud as she could. Which would normally make me feel embarrassed, but she has started to say Mamma. Now, I know she isn't saying it to me (unlike when she went through her dadda phase, Ross was convinced she was saying it TO him), but it is still cool.

Anyway, so I ended up purchasing a swimsiut...which brings me to my next point...I hate swim suits...why do we pay so much for such little clothing and to wear something we hate to wear? But this one didn't make me look too bad, but reminded me of why Ross and I have stopped buying sweets for our house....including ice cream! I can hear the gasps around the world as I type this!
