Anna started crawling yesterday! Click on the link to watch a video of her attempt at crawling. She is a little slow now, but give her time...she will get better. I have a feeling she will walk much sooner than my delayed age of 18 months :)

Big Stuff!

So I was harassed today because I have not updated my blog in a while. Well, it is because I have been a slacker and I have not taken any pictures lately (we all know that no one comes here to listen to my rambling, but to look at my adorable little girl). So I look some pics today because she is getting so big (7 months today!) and trying new things like....

Now that she has mastered rolling everywhere, she is trying to crawl. She brings her legs up underneath her, plants her head on the floor and then throws herself forward...it's pretty entertaining to watch. Also, every time I put her on the floor in the living room she makes her way underneath the chair.

Literally....every time. I don't know why she likes it so much cause she eventually gets stuck and screams for help.

She now says "Ooooooh" at everything she sees and wants to grab or just when she is excited. The face she makes when she says it reminds me of Zoolander.


Yes, my child eats solid foods...but some days are definitely better than others - or should I say cleaner than others!

This picture is from last weekend when we went to Bear Lake with my family. Ross thought he would give Anna a can of cold soda to see if she would like the cold feeling or not. She didn't seem to mind. I think its funny that she can't hold her bottle by herself, but she has no problem with this can. (Don't worry it's not open!) Maybe I should start emptying cans and putting her milk in them?

It's been a while...

It has been a while since I have posted anything. So I guess here is an update; although, when I got looking through the pics on my camera, I realized that I haven't taken a lot of pictures recently. But here are a few...

I took this picture while Annabelle was sleeping because...look closely at her thumb. Can anyone else bend their thumb like that? It totally grossed me out, but she seemed to be fine with it!

This is a picture of us after Cooper's blessing. I know this headband is ginormous-It didn't seem so big when I bought it and this was the first day she wore it. Ross thinks she looks like a miner with a head lamp on, but I like it.

This is the matching outfit to the dress, it is what she wore in the 4th of July. She even had sunglasses, but I didn't take a picture of her in them-I wish I would have. Yeah, having a girl is expensive.

Every time I lay her down on the ground, she instantly rolls over onto her belly. She can get around pretty well this way. It is crazy to see how quickly she can get across the room by scooting and rolling around. Anyway, after a while she gets upset and starts to scream...can you tell she is starting to strain in the picture?

Good news! My daughter finally eats solid foods! After her doctor said she didn't have to eat rice cereal first, we went and got the good stuff. She has never had a problem eating any of it! Except, when we tried carrots they were a little runny, so I thought I would thicken it up with some rice cereal, thinking she wouldn't know. She did! She wouldn't eat more than two bites before she started gagging and making weird faces. She has got something against that stuff.
