I Have A 1 Year Old...Oh.. Wait..

Seeing as how Evan is now 17th months. I figure I should get his one year pictures taken. Ha! And it has been a year since we have had Anna's done. Like I mentioned in the last post, I'm a slacker.
I figure Ross and I could jump in a few pictures so we'd have an updated family picture as well. To say it was cold is an understatement. My kids were freezing and Evan was not happy at all. But my amazing friend Brynn was able to get some good pictures out of the whole scenario - and she also got some of the silly faces my kids make...
and I am so glad she did. I love Evan's quirkiness and I always want to remember how fun he is right now. He makes me laugh all day long.

Or how Annabelle makes this face when she thinks something is funny and then forces her laugh.

Evan thinks suckers are the best thing in the world. I thought hey, this will make him happy and then we can get some good pictures. Nope. Then I can't take the sucker away cause that surely won't help the situation either. Blast!

Annabelle continues to amaze me with how smart she is. She loves school & is keeping up with the kids who are a year older than her. She can and will remember anything you ever tell her -which is great, but also backfires. Like the other day when she told Ross, 'Dad. Mom said if I keep leaving my stuff all around the house, she is going to start calling me, you.' Oops :) She can push my buttons like you wouldn't believe and is almost as stubborn as me so we definitely need our breaks from each other. ;) But I love her oh so much and I wouldn't change a thing cause it all makes her Annabelle.

I am in complete denial that I have a toddler. Nope. Though, I am pretty excited for nursery in a month. Evan wants to be just like his sister. Just last night he only wanted to drink from a water bottle and refused to eat dinner in his high chair. He walked over to the chair next to Anna and said 'cha, up' (chair. up.) He is trying to talk a lot more and is saying (trying) a new word every day..which is good considering he doesn't say much. lol.
Love that both my kids have the exact same strained smile in this picture.

I bet you can actually hear Anna saying 'cheese' in this picture if you listen hard enough.

Yep. Ross has continued the tradition and taught Evan to pull faces for pictures. Evan did this on his own. Ross and Anna soon followed. I had no choice but to give in. We're special :)
