What Once Was Lost

has finally been found. Hooray for finding the cord! Everyone was asking about the house (built in 1999), how many bedrooms (4), bathrooms (2 and 1/2) and the like (right next to a park and a couple of blocks away from a new elementary school and our church) and whether or not we got a good deal (umm yeah. Why else would we buy it?)

So here you have a tour of my house. Mind you these pictures were taken 2 days after we moved in. I would take updated pictures, but sadly not much has changed since then. LOL. No decorations are up, someone wanna come help? Janers? Kelley? I need help.

Main Level - The living room

the other living room, but for right now computer room (don't mind all the mismatched pillows, I am trying to decide what colors I want to go with here)

Kitchen

Dining Room

Upstairs - Master bedroom

Anna's room

Baby #2's room

Anna's bathroom

'Downstairs' (like 2 steps) - miscellaneous room (where everything has been shoved that has yet to be unpacked or have a home yet)
Laundry room

These are a few of my favorite things:

an actual pantry

our backyard

my new table that extends to comfortably sit 8. Thanks again Ellen!

You can really view it best when you come see for yourself. I am thinking we will be having lots of BBQ's come this summer, but you are more then welcome to come and visit before then. Anna and I love visitors ;)

And finally, here I am at 21 weeks. Let's just say taking pictures with the timer = a forced smile and an awkward shot. After taking one picture and looking at it, I thought, let's face it, I am no photographer, so it's not going to get any better. So there you have it.

new houses are the best. You are lucky that you are not a freak like me!! Why?
Well-I was hanging stuff up on the walls and decorating while they were still moving in furniture. I am so not kidding!!
Some of the guys that were helping us move thought that I was insane! Whatever! I am just a freak!
My house was decorated within days of moving in. In fact when i went to church the first time, people said to me-oh you are the one who had her house decorated right when she moved in.
What the heck. How did they know?
I think it's good to sit and look for a bit. Get a feel for what you really want.
I change my furniture ALL the time cause I can't decide what I want.
Oh well, at least I have accepted that I am a freak!
Great house. Love the white cabinets!! I am jealous!

I can't wait to come and see the house! It looks awesome. Next time I'm down at Nate's moms I'll have to take a trip a little farther south to say hi!

LOVESIT!!!!!!! Seriously--I am jealous of the wood floors *sigh* that's the only thing I regret about our house...that and buying when houses in Utah were at their peak--LAME. Oh well. Anyway, I LOVE your light couches--you are braver than I. And you look super cute.

Cute house, we still need an outside picture. You are so little still I am way jealous I looked like that at 10 to 15 weeks sad. Love the big backyard, sigh, I miss grass. Good luck with decorating I defiantly didn't get those genes, my decor skills consist of asking my mother to come hang my pictures. Good Luck!

What a cute house! It's so fun to be in a new house and get to choose how to decorate. And you don't even look prego. How far along are you?!?

Very cute house! I want to come see it- I think you should host the next GNO (and soon). You look so cute at 21 weeks. I am like 10 times that size at 22 weeks.

I LOVE your house. There is so much you can do with it. I'm sure the extra room you have is an added bonus. Plus, even though you are still unpacking and getting situated, you have a really good sense of style. I love the way you have decorated Anna's bathroom. So cute!

WAY CUTE! Have fun decorating. Not a gene I got. After a couple of years in out house and I still hadn't figured out how to decorate Tyler took over (called his mom).

Pantries are the greatest thing ever. I miss mine.

You look way good for 21 weeks too.

I love it! I hope there is plenty of space for me to come and visit. I was thinking I should just jump in the car and come see you. Are you up for three annoying visitors? I love the table, the yard and the pantry those would probably be my fav's too. Although having a room just to throw everything without a home would be nice as well. I would give anything for a basement even if it is two steps.

Cute house! SO jealous of the pantry- that's a top priority for my next one lol...Anna is in a big girl bed now it looks like- yay! You're so tiny still, makes me sick! I swear I looked like that when I was 12 weeks pregnant...sigh. Well you'll see eventually when/if I have another one ;)
I'd be happy to decorate if I wasn't so bloody far away...working on that one though. Shooting for Layton so we'll see!

Your house looks so cute. Love all the hardwood and I love the white cabinets in the kitchen. Also love that pantry. That is so so nice. I am already making my list of what I want in a new home for someday. You look so good too...I think I was way bigger than that. Sorry I am not good at decorating either...our house still isn't painted after 3 years. We will get there!

CUTE house!! We need external shots!! And you're so little, you don't even look like you're showing, you just look like you ate a Thanksgiving dinner! :P

Love the house, it is way nice. And you look fabulous. I really like you and I hate liking skinny pregnant ladies because its just not fair. Everyone should have to get huge like I did. :) Really you look great! Hope we can get down to visit soon or just get together with you guys.

Great house guys! I love it. I am envying your furniture and decorations. It's been almost a year of being home owners and I still don't have furniture or decor. You look great too! Teeny tiny little belly!

Congrats on the house. Let's be honest, it rocks, right? Just don't follow our example and go from a house to a small apartment. It bites.

Your house looks so nice. I bet you are excited to have more room etc. You look so good for being that far along in your pregnancy... I just got so big so fast (at least that is how I felt)

So cute. I love it. One day I'll put Kate in a big bed, but right now I really love her crib. You are tiny, when I was 21 weeks with Kate I was huge.

very cute. I miss my house already but I guess that's the price you pay to go to pharmacy school. Well, we need to plan a get together. Now that you and Chels will be down this way we should make Marcia come to us! Great plan!

Love the prego pic. I always feel awkward taking those kinds of pictures. Thanks for having us over the other night. It was great to see your house. Very jealous. I still can't believe how big your backyard is. So fun.

I so envy your pantry and laundry room...you know, being separate from one another. Yeah for your new house, I'm so excited for you!!!!

Looks like your house is super comfy. I like your new table. We will have to come visit you soon.

Congrats on the new house and baby boy! What an awesome year. I know what you mean about those pictures that you take of yourself and feel really dumb why you are doing it. Then just shrug your shoulders and say whatever. Looks good though. You are barley showing, though you may or may not feel the same way. With my second I felt a lot smaller but showed sooner.

I love the table, how big the back yard is, the fact that some walls are already painted, a pantry, & the prego shot. I want to come down for an actual tour of the house!

Love your house. I bet you are thrilled to have more space and especially having no one above or underneath you. It looks like you will enjoy your house and new surroundings. Love the belly shot. It was also wonderful to see you last weekend. It had been to long and glad we made the trek to see and reconnect with everyone. It was the best weekend ever!!
