Denial Is A River In Egypt

Holy crap. Has it been a month? I have been so crazy busy, but with nothing to show. I never take my camera anywhere anymore. I have to take pictures with my craptastic phone or steal them from others. So here is June in a nutshell.

Snow = Lame.

Lot's of play dates at parks with friends. This castle one is Kaysville was, by far, the coolest.

When we pulled up I have never seen my daughter try so hard to figure out how to unbuckle herself so she could get out and play.

Father's Day. Ross' favorite treat. He also got to go race go karts at MMSP.

Aren't my boys handsome?

We celebrated Evan's birthday and Father's Day with Ross' family. He got lots of fun new toys, but he was in love with this ball. I think that might actually be an understatement.

He also got his first try at cake, which he seemed to like. All I know is his reaction was much better than Annabelle's and that is all a mom can hope for ;)

Then it was off to Bear Lake to spend some time with my family. It was while we were there that he had his actual birthday. Tear. And don't be fooled by this picture. If there was one thing that didn't happen at Bear Lake, it was sleep. Oh man. My little family all sleeping in the same room? No es bueno. I came home and crashed. Hard.

I made cupcakes free of eggs because Anna wanted to join in on the festivities as well. Thanks again Tiff for letting me steal the monkey idea from your blog!

Usually if I make things without eggs she still doesn't eat them, so this surprised me.

Evan trying it out. He was much more hesitant this time around.

Ganache frosting makes for a messy time. But it is great for pictures!

I really can't believe he is already one....Even though he kinda already looks like he could be 2. He is such a great baby (can I still call him that?!) and I just wish he would stay 'little' forever. I honestly never thought I would say that. I love that he will still cuddle with me - Anna never did - and I know it won't last forever.

He is finally passed the army crawl and is crawling normally (though he still bum scoots sometimes - hilarious), pulling himself up, scaling up the stairs, he will eat whatever you give him, loves to be around his sister, but will go to anyone- no real stranger anxiety, and is still pretty easy going. He is still not walking and I don't see it happening soon - which I am just fine with ;)

I took him into the doctor on Monday and here are his current stats:

weight: 25.11 pounds 81%
height: 30.75 inches 80%
head: 19 inches 92%

What a little studly man you have!!! I seriously have a strong desire to eat his little cheeks off in a completely non-canabalistic way of course:) I'm totally jealous of how snuggly he is... Davis doesn't do it unless he is really tired and even then it's questionable. Maybe someday!

It has been awhile for you, glad you finally updated! Evan is the cutest little guy, and yes you can still call him your baby I still do it with Houston and we are on the way to two years old. I love his chubby little smile it is the cutest thing ever! Oh and I loved Eclipse, it was the best one so far, don't ya think? I didn't find myself laughing at the super lame and cheesy parts as I did in the first two, they did way better on this one!

Amelia would love that castle playground! You'll have to tell me exactly where it is.
All your treats look wonderful :) I am dying because I have been trying not to eat sweets. It's horrible.
Eli has a big ball like that and he LOVES it. Whenever he sees it, he just yells "BAAA" and freaks out!!
Evan is so cute and I can't believe our babies are 1!! :(

Happy Birthday Evan. What a handsome little guy. Time seriously goes by too fast. I can't believe how big he is.

That castle playground looks super awesome. My girls would be doing the same thing as Anna trying to get to it as fast as possible.

I can't believe Evan is 1!! Love the cupcakes. They are super cute. But I wouldn't expect anything less from you :) And that park in Kaysville is close to mine and Scott's parents' houses. We celebrated Dani's first birthday there. Isn't it the coolest!

I beg to differ on the walking thing. I wish Stockton would walk, and, like, tomorrow! I guess I have this crazy idea that he won't be into as much...I know, that's silly.

Anywhoo, happy birthday Evan! You are a cutie!

Happy Birthday Evan! Don't worry about not calling you silly girl. I'm sure you were busy. It looks like you guys had a great weekend. I still can't believe how fast they grow up! And I love that our cute boys share the same birthday!

As for the talking, I do hope that Lucas doesn't do that in a store. I am already mortified with just him saying hi to people. I'd rather them not know our life story! Anna is a crack up. Can we get together soon? Perhaps swimming. I'm willing to wander down south!

Glad I'm not the only slacker in the blogging world. You're little boy is just darling! I still remember talking last summer about how he was never going to come and you would be prego forever. Great cupcakes! Way cute!

Did you know that there is a castle playground in West jordan...it's true. We should go. So have you finally come to grips with having a 1year old? Well, I feel your pain. When I took Eden in for her 9 mo the doctor said "see you after her birthday" and I thought "NO! she's just a baby. what are you talking about?!" p.s. LOVE those cupcakes...so much fun! Also, the last picture of you to is ADORABLE! SO CUTE!

Has it already been a year!? That is crazy! I totally know what you mean with Anna and not eating things that should have eggs in them. Morgan usually does the same thing other than yesterday she pulled her cheese out of her subway and said "belly hurt" then shoved it in her mouth :) good thing she is slowly growing out of her allergy so it doesn't bug her so much anymore. I am soooo jealous you got to run the half marathon this year! I AM doing it next year! I am already back to running so I can do that and the ragnar. Awesome time too!

That is the coolest playground!! I remember playing at one that kinda had a castle somewhere on the east coast, but that one is so cool and so close to me. Dang, I really need a kid so I can play too :) Those monkey cookies are so cute! I'd ask you how to make them, but I doubt I even could, I'll just pay you someday to make them for me, haha!
