- Diaper & Wipes
-Toys for Anna: today it is my old cell phone, a rubber ducky the dentist gave her, a race car and a book.
-The "toys" Annabelle actually plays with: my wallet (so many cards and so fun to pull them ALL out to throw on the ground) keys, infant finger nail clippers (yes I have needed these when least expected and so have other mom's) and my cell phone (they are both Razors, that both work, but she likes mine better for some reason)
-Annabelle's immunization card (if I don't always have it in my bag I will forget it in my rush to get to the doctors on time)
-Food: Fiber One bars (for me), Apple Strawberry Puffs (for Anna) and Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and Butterfingers (for Ross)
-Check book, pen and notepad (it always has my "to-do" list for the day, grocery list and the hot deals on grocery items for the week.
-A Ziploc bag with coupons (they usually correspond with them above grocery list. I mentioned in a previous "tag" I really LOVE getting good deals on everything) and gift cards to various restaurants and for a massage - why have I not redeemed that yet?!
-Burt's Bees chapstick (it's the best) and lip gloss
-Tide to go (I swear if I wear white I WILL spill something on myself)
-Anti-bacterial hand gel - a must for a kid who still wants to put everything she touches in her mouth.
-Tums - as of last summer I have an uber sensitive tummy and we have purchased 4 bottles only to be used once because next time we are out, I get sick, don't have tums, buy some AGAIN and leave them at home and the cycle repeats itself. I have since learned to always have some with me.
I tag Alexis, Marcia (so that maybe you will freaking post! Forget the fact you are prego and moving - love ya!) and KariAnn.
On a side note, Ross and I got new couches last weekend. Please ignore my bare white walls - I will be so excited for the day we are not renting so we can paint. I am so sick of white! The pillows aren't great - they came with the couch. So if anyone sees super cute pillows for my couch - HOLLA!
This normally wouldn't be so awesome, but for those who saw the hand-me-downs that I like to refer to as the "Christmas furniture," you will understand my excitement. Not to mention, this are much easier to clean the spills from Anna's milk and keep free of my hair (that would be Ross's favorite feature).

I have the same book for Austin that's in your mom purse. In fact I have that entire book memorized along with the rest of Austin's books that we read over and over all day long. I love your couches! I have seen some really cute bright colored pillows at IKEA. I'm not sure the price, but if its IKEA its gotta be a decent deal right?
Yeah!!! I knew you would make me feel better about what's in my diaper bag....that's usually how much stuff is in mine too...I must have been hungry sometime though...because when I dumped it out...all my food was gone. It's true you have bailed me out on numerous occasions...the Park City fiasco...I did have the necessary means in my diaper bag...but for some reason I left the WHOLE bag in the car...but I do remember in Bear Lake when Coop had a blowout and I didn't have another outfit and he wore one of Annas..what a pretty girl he was. I love your new couches! They look fabulous! I need new pillows too! My friend Anna covered her own and they were really cute...it made me want to make some...
LOVE your couches! Chadd and I really need to spring for some new ones as well. The ones we have look so lame in our house.
you make me laugh! i think i have just as much stuff in my bag too. isn't funny what us moms carry around for those "just in case" moments. your couches are way cute and they look comfy too. i didn't know you lived so close to ikea or else i would have called you. maybe some time you and i and tori could get together with our kids and go for a play day. i think that would be way fun. jaxon would be out numbered, but hey it would still be fun. let me know what you think.
I sympathize with the loaded diaper bag. I recently went shopping with the intent to buy the biggest bag that I could find. I now have a diaper bag the size of a duffle bag! And it's such a mom bag, not cute or stylish at all, but when three of my four kids need the diaper bag necessities I just got the most enormous one I could find. I love the couches, we purchased leather couches when we moved into our new house, they are so nice, especially when you're potty training. So good choice!
Nice couches..Target had some super cute pillows in a realy pretty shade of red or even blue and brown..I was tempted but since I still have a hand-medown couch of the flowery-est..I told myself 'no.' Oh and thanks for the tag..
Yeah as far as cuttign hair goes..I figure people went to school for that so why not pay them..Ry takes the 'i can do it myself, why should I pay good money for this' approach..nice. So he can cut his own hair and Masons' and I can spend the money on my hair..yeah great tradeoff.
I am glad to see that there was peanut butter in there...the only thing that was missing from your bag is some nutella. You don't want to be stuck without that!
Cute post Meg! I loved that. I envy your organization abilities! I try to be, but you have it down to a "T"! Also, you've introduced me to my new favorite treat...the fiber one peanut butter bar! Thanks, it's such a heavenly treat!
Ah the word Holla, what a shame it is not used more. I will post trust I just have to find my camera which is currently MIA!!
At least you have a good excuse to why you have a big bag with stuff. My mom makes fun of me all the time because I have a purse that looks like it could be a diaper bag that is filled with everything you can imagine. You never know, I may get stuck some where and need everything I carry in that bag. Also nice coaches! I can't wait for the day that I don't have to keep fixing my coach covers.
