He actually had 6 tickets, so we were able to invite out friends Kenny and Nikki.
Nikki and I had a good time watching Kyle - and all the 13 yer old girls with their posters doing the same :) I really don't think he is super hot, but definitely the best looking Jazz player.
Kyle bending over - I am so juvenile, I know.
Being the graceful person I am, I tripped while walking to the ESA (is it still weird to everyone to call it that?) and broke my flip flop. Thus causing me to try and pinch the thing in between your toes (is there a specific term for this part?) and causing me to walk like weirdo the rest of the night. Good times.
The culprit.
Thanks dad for the tickets - the seats were awesome and the Jazz won! Wahoo! Also, thanks to my cousin Kirsten who watched Annabelle on such short notice. In other recent news....my daughter finally has enough hair to put into pig tails! YEAH! This was only 15 months in the making. Everyday I would gather her hair to see it was enough and it finally made the cut - with the help up a toothbrush, some water and hairspray.
Granted she only has enough hair in the back, so the pig tails can only really be seen from behind and she tried to rip them about 10 minutes later. I still think this is an accomplishment ;)

The Jazz game looked so fun! I'm so jealous. That's one of mine and Kenny's favorite things to do. Just so you know, I've done that same exact thing with my flip-flops multiple times. It doesn't make for easy walking! Love the pigtails! So cute!
so jealous you got to go to the jazz game. i haven't been to one yet this year. the pigtails are so cute. don't worry, cambree was 18 month before I could get her hair in pigtails. now, she hates her hair done so it usually only gets put in ponies on sunday. oh well
WAHOO for pigtails! I am so excited for you!
I secretly have a crush on Kyle Korver and think he is hot for a basketball player--they are usually so gangly and weird. It is nice to have some eye candy to enjoy, especially when your husband is a Jazz nut. It makes watching EVERY game not so monotonous. I also love the pigtails--good work.
Good job Annabelle, way to grow some hair. I think it looks so cute. I tried sponge curlers on Kate last sunday for church, right before we left I hurried to take them out. Yeah she looked like Napoleon Dynamite. So we did her first set of Piggies. They were funny.
Ah, I love the pic of you and cute Lare dog...he's a sweetie! Glad you guys got to enjoy the fabulous parson seats! And I love the pig tails...she's pretty cute that anna. When are you comin up to watch maddi?
Heck yeah its an accomplishment..those 'parkers' don't have lots of hair you know..I think it has something to do with the name..she looks so stinking cute with them..using a toothbrush is an excellent idea..I will remember it for this baby. Go Jazz..that's one team we can agree on..wish we could've gone with you..only with that broken flip flop I would have been embarassed to be seen with you and probably would have walked 10 feet ahead of you and warned people going the opposite direction to watch out for the 'crazy lady'. Then while at the game I would have given you strange looks and acted like I didn't know you..ohh good times. Lets plan a get together.hahaah
Nice going with the flip flop. That's so something I would do!
Yeah, I don't think I'll be getting Maggie's hair in pigtails even at 15 months!
Hey, why was Annabelle in the NICU?
I love the pigtails! I was a child like Anna with no hair, but I didn't have any until I was like three!! She is so cute.
Did she have a head ache? I'm actually surprise that her head is not all red from you pulling the hair so tight. Just kidding it looks really cute. I'm impressed with your hair skills. A toothbrush? I never would have thought of that.
pigs-awesome. that is what we call them in our house. I guess that the whole word is just too long. glad the game was fun. i got a good little chuckle out of the whole falling thing. i would totally do that-so i am glad that i am not alone. i too have had to walk with a broken flip flop before-maybe we should make up our own term-the toe squeeze? who knows, it could catch on and we could become famous and be on ellen!
Gotta love flip flop mishaps!! I have had a few miyself.
So, what's your Brigham City connection? I have run across your blog a few times through my old friends from Brigham City. Small world?!?!
Isn't it funny how excited we get about our girls' hair? I was so excited when Kaylee had enough for 1 ponytail on top, then two, then pigails with most of the hair...it just keeps getting better. I can now do 1 big one will all her hair and she looks so grown up! Yep, I'm totally obsessed with her hair, pathetic.
The game looked fun, sorry about the shoe. Maybe it's time to go shoe shopping!
Wow, I guess you're pretty lucky to have a dad like good old Ned! Tell him to hook me up next time I'm in town!
The Broken Shoe thing is funny. Happens to everyone. There is even a survey on pedolgroup.com about what you do if your shoe breaks in public. I chose "go barefoot". I don't know how you can do the "toe pinch", especially with thousands of people around you.
