So last Saturday my mom, sister and I went to my cousin's baby shower. Ross volunteered to watch the kids while we went. Isn't my husband sweet, brave, and insane?! But this is what happens when Maddie and Anna are alone together, acting nice and well behaved for more than 10 minutes. Or so you think....

I have no idea why this picture is so bluePeeling 'stickers' sure is fun! You have no idea how mad I was when I got home and saw it...and how hard it was to stay mad when I tried to tell them what they did was bad when the conversation went like this:
Me: You guys! You are not supposed to climb into Evan's crib and you are not supposed to take the letters off the wall. That is not good!
Maddie: Don't worry. We put them in the garbage for you.
Me: That is not okay though. Those letters belong on the wall. That is where I wanted them and now it is ruined.
Maddie: But we didn't like them. So we took them off.
I had to walk away at that point because I couldn't stop laughing and that surely wouldn't help the situation. I don't know if these two should ever be left alone. What's next?!

AH! I would be so mad too. So nice of them to throw them in the garbage for you. If you makes you feel any better Austin decided to draw a large black ink mural on his wall during quiet time last week. Ya what takes out black pen off of walls? We've tried all the googled things and none of them worked. We just gave up and repainted the large wall last night. kids. gotta love em.
Sadly, my kids would have been beaten. With a wet noodle.

What good little girls. Making sure all their garbage is thrown away. That makes me laugh! Love those moments when you are so mad but your kids find a way to make it impossible to stay that way.
I think I would have cried before even thinking about laughing! How can 3 year olds be so cute and so annoying at the same time?
Oh the frustrations...I mean joys...of being a mommy! That is seriously too funny. Good job thinking it was funny right away and not waiting till a few days later to find the humor in it (that would have been me).

Oh goodness it sure is hard to not bust up laughing when you are angry at your kids. They make it almost impossible. I would have been angry also.
Oh serious?! I would have been so mad. I also would not have thought it was funny. I would have probably taken something of Anna's and told her I didn't like it and threw it away...yup I'm that mature...Thank heavens Eden is still an infant...I have some growing up to do still.

Let's set the record straight. I WAS mad. But it happened while I was gone and Ross had already disciplined them - what could I do now besides express my disappointment in them and get over it by laughing. Nothing I can do to change the outcome now, you know?

Well you are better than me cause I would have still been mad I've decided my tolerance level doesn't hold well with stuff like that. Maybe in a few weeks I could laugh, it's funny it happened to you though!!
i'm with marcia i would have been mad too. my girls ripped off their princess stickers on their wall and rearranged the heads so snow white's body is on cinderella's head. i was quite upset-kids
That is hilarious. I'm glad Anna and her cousin were well behaved today. Loved seeing you. Also love the Dr. Suess theme by the way. Hopefully you can get more letters.
oh lawsy, I can just picture all of this happening, I'm so sorry, though it is comical in the end. I hope you get some new letters soon and whatever green creation you decided on turns out fabulous!

Those little stinkers I would of been so mad, but it would hard to keep a straight face with those comments. You might have to have them be with a adult at all times when they are together. Hopefully you will come up with some new or same saying on the wall!! Best of luck!
