How can you get mad at that face?
Last Saturday Ross and I treated ourselves to dinner at The Roof at the Joseph Smith Memorial building (compliments of the company Ross works for, well most of it anyway - it was his birthday present). They had the most fabulous blackened salmon - I was in heaven!
New Years Eve we hung out with Ross's high school buddies, their wives and kids. It was a lot of fun. Every year we all get together, eat Gumbo, treats and listen to the guys re-tell all their crazy stories from high school. It never gets old.
Annabelle and Bostyn hung out by the cooler with their sippy cups, which they liked to pass between each other and laugh while moms weren't looking.
Once everyone got there, it ended up kind of like the ward nursery. Bostyn and Ky are 18 months (both moms are pregnant with their 2nd) Annabelle is 12 months (her mom is not prego!) Ava is 8 1/2 months, twins Isaac and Jaron are 7 1/2 months and Emma is 3 months.
Guitar Hero is what kept us up till midnight. Although at around 10PM we all thought it had to be way closer to midnight than it was. Kids make you old and tired.
Anna playing Guitar Hero (from earlier this week at my cosuin Pam's when we went to The Roof- thanks again). My mom and dad , bless their hearts, met us in Syracuse shortly after the party started and took Annabelle back to their house to sleep.

Ah that's right! I remember that mroning when you told me you kissed Ross...then mom saw the hickie...ah that story never gets old. But that's fun that it happened on a day that is easy to remember. I couldn't tell you what day we had our first kiss..probably like a week before our wedding or something. JK. All of your pics look cute. And Guitar Hero is awesome! I'll have to post our pics from New Years. You look so stinkin tiny in that pic with you and Ross! Craziness is for sure!

I want to hear this hickie story. I think I must have missed that one somehow, but it sure sounds interesting. I love the Roof restaurant. Its such a romantic place, plus the food is amazing. You look like a pantene pro-v model in the bottom picture with Ross. Gorgeous hair, & gorgeous girl.
I don't know the hickie story either, but from the sound of it, I guess I shouldn't feel bad about Chadd and I's first "kiss." But hey, we ended up marrying the guys so no one should feel bad...right? Love the picture of the girls by the cooler...looks like they totally know how to party--I am jealous!

THANKS A LOT OVERMAN! Look what you have started. My mom called me yesterday and said that if anyone wants to hear her side of the story they can give her a call. Anywho, for the record, Ross and I kissed for the first time on New Years Day. He thought it would be funny to give me a hickey, he had never done so to anyone before and I had yet to receive one. I think they are nasty white trash. But he somehow managed to imobilize me and plant one on my neck in a matter of 5 seconds. Two days later, I believe, when I got home from the gym (my hair in a pony tail) my mom saw it from a distance. I tried to lie, but I am no good at it. Therefore, my mom was the first to know that Ross and I kissed. She even told Brandon...but he was to ditzy to realize what she was saying and thought she was joking- love ya Brandon! Still to this day Ross thinks it is funny to try and pin me down and give me a "branding" as I would like to call it. Seriously every time he kisses me goodbye in the morning i bring my shoulders up to my ears so the neck is unavailable. I just don't get it. But there you go everyone...theres the story in a nutshell.
that's quite the story, i love it. i agree that hickies are white trash. when ryan and i were dating he also thought it would be funny to give me a hicky. i don't know why guys like it. oh well.
also, to respond to your question about cambree sleeping until 11, unfortunately not but she did sleep an hour later which was around 9.
I had forgotten that story too. That is hilarious! Brandon is back here laughing too. I sure had a lot to catch up on with you guys. It sounds like you had an awesome Christmas getting everything you wanted. I bet Christmas was so much fun with Anna. We almost came along to new years eve with Cayde and Bre too. It looks like you guys had a blast!
oh megan, that is quite the story! i laughed really hard, thanks! sounds like you had a fun new years. mine wasn't as fun, we just went to his parents! yipee! anyway you look way cute in all the pics. i have never had the experience to go to the roof. sounds fun. will have to work on that one!
