Annoying high school kids

So I know I am not that "grown up" but I am sure you will all agree with me when you are in a public place, be it the mall, movies or the grocery store, there are teenagers around usually acting...well, like most teens do. I think to myself, "How much more giggly can those girls get?", or"how much more obnoxious can those boys be?" etc. But then I remember WAY BACK WHEN...

My friend Jacque and I thought it would be funny to pay for an entire pizza with our big jar full of pennies (I think we saw it on "The Tom Green Show"). The lady was SO not amused by us, but she counted out all our change anyhow.

We would go to McDonalds to play at their playground. I think we all thought it was so funny/cool to get kicked out of places. Why?!

Get in "wars" with our guy friends and egg/water balloon/toilet paper them. They usually got us back much worse. For instance, who would have thought of syrup and toilet papering together?

Sleep out on the football field graduation night. Only to be drenched by the sprinklers - then move to the track and then wake up to old ladies stepping over you cause they are exercising.

We eventually made our own club to get back at guys who had "wronged" us in any way (really?! Oh teenage drama) We toilet papered/seran wrapped/poured rotten cottage cheese/egged, basically trashed their house and/or car. We even had sweatshirts and titles - I was the secretary. Shout out for MILE 10!

I had the biggest obsession with "Roswell." At least I can look back and laugh at myself and my husband doesn't think less of me - hopefully, he did buy me all 3 seasons on DVD.

I even took a trip to California with my mom and stalked the cast. They weren't at the Paramount Lot but we found them shooting on location at some reservoir. And in case your wondering this is Shiri Appleby walking towards me (she played the main character).

This is Jason Behr and Katherine Heigl off in the distance. I remember being so angry with these pictures because my camera sucked it made it look like I was so far away (drama again), when in reality I was pretty close. I have like 3 rolls of film from my trip - Jeesh. Now I know why when my sister found her old diary she had written "Megan is .... different."

But to conclude this long, random post..Even though I look back and realized what a dork I truly was, I am glad I have those crazy, fun memories with all of my great friends. I just apologize to anyone who interacted with us at the time.
Thanks for going down a trip of memory lane with me :)

That's funny! I tell my husband all the time " I know I wasn't that annyoing when I was there age", most likley I was. I was looking through photos last night and I wanted to do a memory lane slide show. I can't believe how young we were and most likely we were nerds. Do you remember toliet papering Zack Mason and getting caught?

You crack me up. Sounds like a good time. It is funny you bring up Roswell. I too loved it but I never got to see the last couple of episods. I was actually looking for them today at the library. I was shocked that they didn't have any! They obviously don't know what they are missing. Oh well I'm gonna check ebay.

Oh the many nights of watching Roswell at your house! I will agree on your obsession, your room was turning into a shrine! I still think of that every time I see Katherine Heigle in anything. But I'm not admitting to any of the house trashing, we'll just keep that our secret. Good times!

You are a sweetheart, you always make sweet comments on my page--thanks! Also, I wouldn't mind cooking for all of us one of these days, although I am not the greatest cook--I am sure you or Chelsie would do a lot better job. Or we could just go out to eat and not have to worry about anyone cooking! ;) So you are in Lehi and Chelsie is in Ogden? I guess SLC is the middle right? =) You'll have to give me your phone numbers so we can set something up before the summer. Also, it looked like you had tons of fun in high school--I think I was a little too serious in high school so I didn't do many crazy things so it was funny to see all that you did!

I like that you were a mean annoying teen like I was. Well...not mean per say, but you know crazy and up to no good on weekend nights with toliet papering etc. I quite enjoyed your story about the mile 10 club. I am positive we would have been buds and I would have been in your club if we attended same high schools.

So you had to post the picture of McDonald's where I'm taking it? Man, I was so close to getting on your blog. And yes, you were a really annoying teenager, why do you think I hung out with you? So I could sit back and just watch peoples' reactions to you!
