I was tagged by Melanie and Melissa for this one, so I guess I better do it. A high school tag..I am not so sure about this. Remember what I was like in high school?
1. Did you date someone from your school? Not really. I went on dates, but did not 'date' anyone. I think that is why my family was convinced I was never going to get married. Nice huh?
2. What kind of car did you drive? Grey and blue 1989 Ford F150. A.K.A. The Beastie Bus.
3. What was the most embarrassing moment of High School? At the Sweetheart assembly my junior year. They called my name and some others' down onto the stage. They then announced they knew some of the students 'secret' crushes. They wanted these students to go behind this screen on stage that had a light behind it and turn off all the lights so everyone could see the silhouette. Then the crushee could give the crusher a Hersheys kiss, a hug or a real kiss. First up....they announced I had a crush on Josh Tanner. I was so embarrassed. In front of the whole school!! I remember the lights going off and people yelling 'yeah Overman/ovaries!' The only thing that comforted me was the fact that probably almost every other girl in the school had a crush on him too...and the fact that I got a kiss from him out of it.
4. Were you a party animal? No.
5. Were you considered a flirt? Rrrright. Ross told me after we got married that I don't flirt or if I was flirting, then I was horrible at it. I don't know which is worse.
6. Were you in a band, orchestra, or choir? No, no and no. I wish I could sing.
7. Were you a nerd? Roswell obsession anyone? That is all anyone wrote about in my year book my senior year - so yeah, big nerd.
8. Were you on any varsity teams? Drill Team.
9. Did you get suspended/expelled? Surprisingly, no. Considering I spent a considerable amount of time talking with the principal in both elementary and junior high. My mouth always got me into trouble.
10. Can you still sing the fight song? I couldn't even tell you 2 words from it. But the school song - I sing that all the time to annoy my Fremont Alumni of a husband :)
11. Who were your favorite teachers? Mrs. Keim and Nicholls - they let me be their TA my senior year and that was fun grading my little sisters homework. Bwa ha ha. And Mrs. Deutry (nutrition teacher) she seriously has to be on some sort of drugs with her skinniness, wiry hair and dark sunglasses. Jason Call would eat pop tarts and cookies in her class and when she would scold him, he would tell her I told him that they were healthy. She was always disgusted by it and it was funny. Then after we learned about eating right Kelley and I would hit up McDonalds. Good times.
12. Where did you sit during lunch? Depends....Sophomore year - by our lockers, Junior year - in the lunchroom, and Senior year - in the senior hall or on the small section of 'The Wall' were I had a clear view of the commons and could yell at anyone I wanted to talk to and/or heckle the boys sitting at 'The Wall' who heckled innocent people as they walked by.
13. What was your school's full name? Weber High School
14. School Mascot? Warriors
15. Did you go to Homecoming and who with? Christian Hancock. I had to look that up. All I remember is he Clorox bleached his hair the day of the dance and it was so ugly. Then his ex girlfriend came up to him at the dance and told him how sexy it looked. Awkward.
16. If you could go back and do it again, would you? No.
17. What do you remember most about graduation? Telling some of the people that sat by me that I was happy I wouldn't have to see any of them again. I really said that- so not nice. On a happier note, I remember my mom chaperoning the graduation party (yah), staying up for 48 hours straight, being super hyper at Denny's and embarrassing Ashley. And Marcia and I being completely delusional at yearbook signing.

19. Were you in any clubs? National Honor Society.
20. Who was your prom date? Brett Jensen. My 6th grade boyfriend. He told everyone I ate a lot on our date.
21. Are you planning on going to your 10 year reunion? I don't know. I doubt we have one.
22. Looking back, what advice would you give yourself? Sssssshhhhhhh!

You are so funny. I will never understand your love for sci-fi crap. :) But I love to hear you talk about it openly. I forgot that one of my embarassing moments was wearing the "CAPE". I'm sure it was one of yours too!
Ahhh, high school. Yeah I wouldn't go back either. Your last answer was my favorite- hahaha! Good times though...Roswell didn't make us nerds did it? ;) Come on Megan, it was cool and you know it!

yikes high school! I get chills just thinking about that ackward self centered stage in my life. I would never go back. But I sure loved listening to your experience. I wonder if we would have been friends? I'm pretty sure we would have. You might have been too cool though. Hopefully I wouldnt have been any of those poor people that sat by you at graduation that you told you were glad you didnt have to see again! haha that is funny.

haha, i love that brett told people that you ate a lot, that's awesome. and i'm pretty sure ms keim and mrs nichols wondered how we could be sisters when they loved you so much and HATED me so much...remember how i had to sit by myself with no one in the surrounding desks for the whole year...that was fun

So funny! You had the Roswell thing going on into College even, because I remember you quoting stuff and even saying what episode it was on! You crack me up!
For Weber High we stand for Weber High, best school in all the land her colors proudly fly, high, high, high! ..... and so on, ok I didn't even realize I knew that but , apparently I do. Also I remember they were going to have me kiss Jake Saunders in that assembly, but I told them I'd kill them, but secretly wanted them to so I could kiss him.
Oh good memories! hehe. I am glad high school is over too. And who didn't have a crush on Josh Tanner :) I remember that assembly though. hehe.

Annabelle's costume is way cute! And those pictures of her and her pals/cousins are great.
Also, I love those pumpkin treats you did! I saw those on Bakerella the day of Halloween and wished I had checked out her site sooner. Oh well, I may have to find an excuse to make them soon. Good job, girl; you are quite domestic!!
