It's What Fun Is

Friday was ATK day at Lagoon (where Ross's dad works) he got us tickets, Ross took a half day, we dropped Anna off and met up with Ross's mom and little sister Chelsea. It was bloody hot, but we had a good time.

This is us waiting in line for 'Wicked' (I guess I still haven't picked up the Dinsdale posing skills) and that it was...definitely the best ride at Lagoon. We rode other rides, like the Colossus, which had much shorter lines because they aren't the main attraction anymore..so that was nice. We decided we needed to cool down so we rode 'Rattlesnake Rapids' and of course I was the one that got stuck under the waterfall and I was completely drenched from head to toe. Sorry, we only took one picture with Ross's phone. It was a good time had by all. Thanks again to the Dinsdales for the tickets and the company.

One Sunday a month we head over to my cousin Pam's (referred to as my cousin aunt) house to have Sunday dinner with her family. The have a large field behind their yard with horses, so after dinner Pam, Sydney, Annabelle and I went out to feed to horses some apples.

Anna is a brave little girl.

We fed the horses a bunch of apples, but as soon as they were gone Anna would ask 'More apples?' We had to end the fun sometime...

So we played on the grass for a while. She made this face every time the horses made the horsey noise...I don't know quite how to type that word ;) When you ask her what the horsey says, she makes that noise, so I don't know why she was so shocked to hear them make the noise themselves. Oh well. It was a good weekend indeed...Anna loves playing at the Maxfield's and what can I say? I love a home cooked meal that I didn't have to cook ;)

ok-too fun! yea-I agree, you need to work on the face posing skills!

I love her dress! Did you buy it or did Grandma make it! Seriously-too cute!

I want you to make treats and share them with me!! You are as fabulous as your sister!! Share the oreo recipe and the cake one too! She takes pity on us and shares with us. The little cupcake bites were so delish and I know that she got the recipe from you!

megan, she is soooo cute. You better watch out! heartbreaker right there! Well, I was bummed you didn't come to the zoo but Marcia is planning on coming down next week so maybe we can plan something or just have a play day. I have a huge house in Herriman all to myself! Thanks for the comment on my blog for my class...good point about the videos...I forgot about that one. One of us will give you a call next week so we can hook up.

I am so excited that I get to put my kid in cute clothes like that soon. Boys clothes are cute but I get sick of the same old, sports, dinos, and car themes. So fun. B would have died that close to the horse, man he would have been in heaven. Ask if I can come next time.

Oh the joys of Lagoon! It is a great place to go once a year! Anna’s dress is so stinkin cute, I think that is a must have!

I haven't been to Lagoon in years! I need to check out all their new rides.
Anna's faces are so cute! Molly has recently developed a phobia of animals-she used to love them but now runs away from them. Silly kids...
Let's get together sometime next week-after the 4th our life slows down quite a bit. If you still don't have a car I can pick you up or something.

I think you're going to have to get a horse now. Annabelle seems to be hooked & you need to spoil your child.

You know I never realized how long Anna's name is. I thought Brennen's was long but she's got him beat!! Plus your last name is long too! I hope she likes to write!!LOL
Hopefully I will have had a baby and can't come up next week but with my luck I doubt it, so I am hoping Wednesday, would Monday be better for you? Let me know!

There is nothing better than little girls in dresses! I love it. Anna looks so dang cute. What a brave sole too. Isaac is scared of any animals and has to be by my side in order to be okay. I love the Lagoon picture sorry it's was so hot. That is one thing that I am not looking forward to when we get back. :)

I'm going to take a wilde guess and say Anna was 'sharing' her apples with the horsies..right? oh come on, you can admit it..a little horse saliva never hurt anyone! I hear its good for the complexion too!
She's so stinking cute..LOVE that dress and the bow!

She is so adorable! And referring to your last post I'm totally with you on the choreographers. Shane was my fav, and what happened to him this year? Wade too his dances were so crazy. I have a SYTYCD fan group on my facebook, and they are always talking about the dancers and such, so if you need an outlet, just click on it and join!

Hey Meg. So it has been a while since I have blogged so I was shocked when I pulled up your page and saw all of Anna's hair and it is blonde. What a gorgeous girl. And just to commment on SYTYCD, I sypathize with Ross, or anyone who watches because I can't stand Mary either, but I wouldn't not watch because of her. They just need to not let her talk....EVER!

We were there too, I can't believe we missed you! I love Anna's dress! You live WAY too far away! I miss you so much!!!

Oh...the memories of the ATK Lagoon Days! (my dad has works there too) I just realized I haven't been to Lagoon in 10 years! Since they have a new ride, I guess it is time to brake the streak.

BTW - your daughter is gorgeous!!

I can't believe how brave she is to just feed the horse like that! LOVE the pictures. It was probably weird for her to hear what a real horse sounds instead of your mommy horsey noises.

ps. She is getting more hair it is so cute!
